Obituary of Sandy M. Capone

Capone, Sandy M. Penfield: Passed away peacefully on November 13, 2015 at the age of 66. Sandy was born on July 17, 1949 and was a lifelong resident of the Rochester area. He was a loving husband to Karen; proud father to Kari Capone, Cory Capone and wife Janel, and Michael Capone; "Pa-Pone" to grandchildren, Andrew Kaefer, Maia and Ella Capone; beloved brother to sisters, Grace Capone, Toni (John) Miller, and sisters-in-law, DJ McBride and Lynne (Marc) Servant; great uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a loyal friend to many. Sandy graduated from East High School, and continued his education at Syracuse University and RIT, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, and a Masters Degree in Statistics. He worked many years for Eastman Kodak, and in his "retirement", worked as a bus driver for Penfield Central Schools and Lift-Line. He loved Yankee baseball, Syracuse basketball, and playing cards. His generosity, gentleness and sense of humor will be missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation (www.michaeljfox.org) to fund research for a cure for Parkinson's Disease. Friends may call at the Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road, Webster, NY 14580 on Monday November 16th from 4-7 PM. Service to be held at 9 AM on Tuesday November 17th at the funeral home.
